I'll be pretty busy toward the end of the new year. I won't have time to post anything.

"Child's Play" is a great charity where gamers and the community give something to kids that aren't having fun. I have been a proud supporter of this charity since 2004.

I had a close family member die of Cancer this year so this is very important that I post something regarding this terrible disease.

Please give to any charity this holiday season and put a smile on a person's face.

I just started teaching so I'll be pretty busy. I'll have some cool stuff posted in my Deviant Art account. When I am free I will post some new Animation, Comic Books, J-Pop, Anime, Manga, or anything cool from Japan.

Metropolis magazine can show what is happening now in Tokyo. This magazine can be found everywhere in Tokyo. When I am attending classes in Shibuya I usually get a copy at the local music store.

Nerts (20 years and counting)

This year will mark the 20th Anniversary of the creation of the Nert.
For those of you who don't know what a Nert is. It was created 20 years ago by friend John Callery, my brother, and me when we were kids in Dayton. John and my brother drew it for a while and lost interest in the doodles. I liked the doodles and I decided to make them all my own. The Nert is a frog-type alien creature. It comes from the planet called Imeria. There are two moons. They have their own culture and language. I used to spend hours and hours trying to get the character to look right.

The character has evolved over the years. It first had an antenna with no feet. Later I drew feet and better arms. I created a 3-D Animation character in college. It looked crude, but at least it moved.

I will create an image that will depict the creation of my character. I hope I draw these guys for another 20 years. In the meantime here is an evolution chart of the Nert.

I got busy with studying so I didn't have time to update my site. No worries. I'll update this site at least once a month.

I wanted to add to the list of congratulations to Scott Kurtz for winning the Eisner for best "Web Comic." I bet he is still on "cloud nine" after winning that award. I still wanted to thank him for putting pics of Comike last year. Speaking of which, I will be attending Comike at the "Big Site" next weekend. I hope to take many pictures of Cosplayers and buy an insane amount of Dojinshi.

I also wanted to say good luck to my fellow Otakon staffers. Keep healthy and drink lots of water. "Gambate!!!"

Time for me to go back to studying the books....yeah...

My apologies for the lack of content. I am very busy with attending Japanese Classes and working. I will be busy until the end of the year.

I usually keep my artwork updated at my Deviant Art account.

My cousin, Ji-Yong, opened a Korean Restaurant in Roppongi, Tokyo. The place is called Hann. His trademark dishes are Sam Ge Tang (Korean Chicken Soup), Soon Tubu (Spicy Tofu), Apple Soju (Apple mixed with Soju inside the apple) and Pineapple Soju (Pineapple mixed with Soju. This is mostly for parties).

I also wanted to add another cousin, Michelle, is working for a Restaurant in San Francisco called Ponzu. This is an Asian fusion Restaurant. She was named one of the top young chefs in the SF area.

I am very proud of them. I want to wish them all the luck.

A buddy of mine Billy has a band called Yajirushi. The music style feel like a revival of the old hit rock music of the 60's and 70's (Janis Joplin, Doors). Rock on Billy...Rock on...

I added Nancy Cartwright and Jonathan Winters to the links section. These are two of well known artists to come from Dayton. The other is Martin Sheen (I couldn't find his Official Web Site).

As of today I have closed my BBS. I wasen't seeing a lot of people on the board. I frequent other boards so I see no problem in closing this one.

If I see more traffic on my site I'll re-open the BBS.
